FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Doctoral Lecturer of Physics, full-time position to begin Fall 2015. The appointee will perform teaching of introductory physics courses; may include lab coordination as well as curriculum development. This is a one-year term appointment with the possibility of annual renewals based on satisfactory performance.

QUALIFICATIONS
Hunter College has an urban setting in Manhattan and attracts a diverse undergraduate student population. We seek an individual with a strong commitment to teaching and an ability to work with diverse student populations. Ph.D. degree is required, ideally in physics or equivalent area(s). The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching a variety of courses in physics, a commitment to quality undergraduate education, and an ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution. Some evening or weekend teaching may be required.
