The
Physics Department at Hollins
University seeks applications
for a Visiting Instructor or
Visiting Assistant Professor of
Physics. This is a full-time
visiting faculty position for
the 2013-2014 academic year,
with possibility of continuation
based on incumbent’s
satisfactory performance and
institutional need.
Successful candidates must be
broadly-trained physicists with
experience teaching both
calculus-based and algebra-based
introductory physics (including
laboratories) for non-physics
majors, as well as upper-level
courses contributing to
chemistry, biology, and
environmental studies curricula.
Ph.D. preferred by time
of appointment.
Final candidates will be
subject to a criminal history
background check.
