TT/T at Dalton State

Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy (tenure-track).

Responsibilities: Teaching 27-29 credit hours per academic year. Teaching assignments may be day, evening, or weekends, possibly at off-campus locations. Academic advising, committee work and other duties as assigned by the chair.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics or related discipline in-hand or expected by August 2013.A primary interest in, and firm commitment to, a student-centered teaching-learning process.

  1. a letter of interest with a separate statement of teaching philosophy
  2. a current curriculum vitae
  3. three current letters of reference
  4. transcripts of all college work
