Duties:
The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg invites applications for an Instructor in Physics position, to begin August 2013. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in non-calculus and calculus-based physics (lectures and laboratories), biophysics and computational biology, and to be actively involved in mentoring biology undergraduate students.  
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):
M.S in Physics, Mathematics or closely related field from an accredited institution and prior teaching experience in undergraduate physics. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Lecturer.  
Preferred Qualifications (Education & Experience):
Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics or closely related field, research experience in medical or biological physics and computational biology, prior teaching experience in undergraduate physics, computational biology and biophysics, and a record of scholarship in these fields.
