The Department of Physics at the
University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for the position of
Instructor to begin in August 2014. The appointment is for an initial
term of two years, and is renewable. The department seeks a person with a
Physics Ph.D. or equivalent, who is prepared to teach large
lower-division physics classes, as well as a wide variety of
undergraduate physics courses. In addition to classroom and laboratory
teaching, the successful candidate will provide logistical support and
training for other faculty members, and will be an active participant in
a vigorous on-going curriculum development program. Experience teaching
university-level physics is highly desirable.
