The University of Findlay invites applications for a 9-month,
tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor of
Physics.
A Ph.D. in physics, biophysics, astronomy, or a closely related
area is required. Preference will be given to those with enthusiasm
and experience in undergraduate teaching. Teaching responsibilities of
this position may include teaching general physics courses,
introductory astronomy courses, managing our planetarium, conducting
research, and advising undergraduate research. Candidates must be
committed to student-education as well as professional development and
scholarship. Currently, the department does not have a physics
program.
