The department of Physics seeks to fill a limited term appointment faculty position in experimental physics.
The
successful candidate will have a PhD in experimental physics or
engineering (electrical, mechanical, or engineering physics, P.Eng
preferred); a proven record of exceptional undergraduate teaching; the
expertise needed to incorporate modern technologies into the design of
new senior-level labs, and a strong commitment to service within the
department and the university at large. He or she will be capable of
teaching a wide variety of introductory and advanced undergraduate
physics courses including experimental methods, electronics, and
advanced physics laboratories. The ability to teach computational
physics and/or courses in mechatronics will be considered an asset.
