The Physics Department of St. Bonaventure University invites
applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of
assistant
professor beginning August 2014. A doctorate in Physics (or applied
Physics) is required and college teaching experience is desirable.
Teaching responsibilities include Introductory General Physics and lab,
undergraduate engineering physics major courses, and natural science
courses in St. Bonaventure's Core Curriculum. This is primarily a
teaching position, with a load of 12 contact hours per semester.
Teaching
is enlivened and enriched by the selected candidate's promise of
research in their area of specialization. Further responsibilities
include
academic advising, service on committees, and professional development.

expected of the successful candidate.
