Monmouth
College is a residential liberal arts college in western Illinois and
founding member of the consortium of the Associated Colleges of the
Midwest (ACM).
Monmouth College invites applications for a
temporary, full-time, one-year leave replacement position in the Physics
Department beginning in August 2014. Subfield open and applications
from both theorists and experimentalists are welcome. Ph.D. by time of
arrival required. The successful candidate will be committed to
undergraduate teaching excellence, scholarly activity, and Monmouth’s
liberal arts mission. Normal teaching load is 6 courses per year.
