Job Description: 
Ohio University's Chillicothe Campus is seeking candidates for a Lecturer of Physics/Physical Science (non-tenure track, yearly-renewable contract) to teach undergraduate physics and physical science courses. Faculty responsibilities include: teaching 15 credit hours per semester (generally four to five classes each semester term, including laboratories) and limited service to the campus. Summer teaching may be available depending on need. The candidate should expect to use distance learning as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: Masters' degree in Physics, Physical Science, Astronomy or related field by the time of the appointment (8/17/2015). Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching and be willing to teach on a day/evening schedule. 

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. 

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D in Physics, Physical Science, Astronomy or related field by the time of appointment (8/17/2015). 
Preference given to candidates with experience teaching within a higher education environment.
