The Department of Physical Sciences at Kutztown University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in experimental/applied physics at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2015. A Ph.D. in physics, engineering, or a related field is required. ABD will be considered with conferral of Ph.D. by August 21, 2015. Successful candidate is expected to teach upper-level experimental physics courses, such as electronics and instrumentation. Evidence of commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and research is required. The teaching load consists of twenty-four contact hours per academic year. The successful candidate is expected to develop an active research program that involves undergraduate students. Candidates must submit a hardcopy of application including a cover letter, curriculum vitae, undergraduate and graduate transcripts, a brief statement of teaching philosophy, a research plan that involves undergraduates, and three current letters of recommendation to: Chair of Experimental Physics Search Committee, Department of Physical Sciences, Kutztown University, P.O.
