Physics: The Sciences Department, composed of Biology, Chemistry,
Biochemistry, Physics, and Psychological Sciences, is seeking
applications
for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics. Possible start dates
are January or August of 2015. Teaching assignment consists
primarily of Algebra-based Introductory Physics with laboratory and
Calculus-based General Physics with laboratory. There may be
opportunities to teach in other areas of core education, the interim
term, and the evening college. A desire to conduct undergraduate
research is highly desirable, Other responsibilities include advising
pre-Engineering undergraduate students. An earned Ph.D. in physics or
a closely allied field is required for the appointment to be tenure
track. LaGrange College seeks candidates who demonstrate a commitment to
undergraduate education in the liberal arts and appreciate the mission
of the institution.

Georgia (pop. 30,000) - about an hour southwest of Atlanta. An inviting
