Danville Area Community College is an accredited public two-year college that serves more than 9,000 students annually. The College is located in Danville, in east central Illinois, 125 miles south of Chicago and 90 miles west of Indianapolis. Physical Science/Mathematics Instructor: Required qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Physics or Engineering; competence to teach general education Physical Science and Mathematics classes, including physics; ability to use alternative instructional techniques such as collaborative and mastery learning; knowledgeable in instructional technology; commitment to working as a team and flexibility with course scheduling; commitment to student success; coordinate engineering programs. Desirable qualifications include community college teaching experience.
