The Physics Department invites applications to fill a three-year renewable appointment at the rank of Lecturer, beginning August 2015, job code TF0603. The Physics Department is committed to reforming its courses with research-based and innovative pedagogy, including active student engagement in lecture and new formats for laboratory sessions. In addition to teaching introductory courses, upper-level and capstone courses, candidates must be able to conduct research, some of which includes undergraduates, and participate in the department’s on-going curricular reform.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics or closely-related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and with specialties that complement the departmental research interests.
