Lecturer Position-University of Massachusetts Amherst
The Physics Department of the University of Massachusetts Amherst
invites applications for a Lecturer position to start September 1, 2015.
The department has a legacy of developing new and innovative teaching
practices, having created some of the first implementations of on-line
homework, personal response technology, lecture capture and blended
learning. The department is seeking an outstanding colleague who wishes
to be part of a pioneering initiative to teach introductory physics in a
team-based / active learning format. Required qualifications are a
bachelors degree or higher in Physics or a closely related field, and
demonstrated experience and commitment to excellence in undergraduate
