The Department of Physics at the University of Washington seeks to fill two Full-Time Lecturer positions. The positions would be for 1 or 2 year appointments with the possibility for renewal, starting September 16, 2015. The successful applicant will be expected to teach six courses each academic year, primarily in the Departments introductory physics sequences and to participate in the administration and curriculum development of the introductory courses and associated laboratories. University faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Applicants must have a Ph.D or foreign equivalent degree by the date of appointment and experience teaching introductory physics at the college level.
