Haverford College invites applications for Visiting Assistant Professor position(s) in the Department of Physics and Astronomy for the 2015-2016 academic year. This is a full time appointment and may be renewable for subsequent year(s) contingent upon staffing needs in the department and performance review(s) at the end of the academic year. The successful candidate should provide strong evidence of excellence in teaching and an ability to contribute to the Physics or Astronomy curricula at multiple levels. A Ph.D. is required, and postdoctoral experience, although not a requirement, is desirable. The area of research is open, but laboratory experience is advantageous, as is the ability to mentor undergraduate research students.
