| Job Description |
The Department of Physics and Physical Science invites applications for a full-time three year term Assistant Professor beginning August 2015.
Responsibilities include teaching all levels of undergraduate physics and physical science courses, including labs.
We also seek a colleague who will contribute to the University’s general education curriculum with its emphasis on First-Year Seminar which is intended to enhance students’ critical thinking, and to the college’s support of interdisciplinary programs.
Candidates interviewing on campus must have official transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) forwarded directly to the chair of the search committee by their degree granting institutions, prior to an on-campus interview. Review of applications begins ASAP and will continue until the position is filled.

| Required Qualifications |
A Ph.D. in physics or a related field is required, and several years of teaching experience is preferred.
