invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level starting in fall 2016. We seek a teacher-scholar who will teach effectively across all levels of the undergraduate curriculum, maintain an active research program, and contribute substantially to a culture of student engagement. Since fall 2014 all introductory physics courses have been taught in an integrated/interactive format (inspired by the SCALE-UP and Studio Physics models) in a newly renovated space designed for that purpose; the potential to teach effectively in this format is absolutely essential. In the near future we plan to launch a student Learning Assistant program, provide increased opportunities for undergraduate research, and promote student involvement in the .
