  • Teaching lower division physics courses including laboratories.
  • Teaching physics courses for education majors.
  • Typical teaching load is 24 credits per year.
  • Contribute to program development and scholarly activities in the department.
  • Contributing to student growth.
  • Service to the department, college, university and community.
 Required Qualifications:
  • Masters degree or higher in Physics conferred on an official transcript by August 8, 2016.
  • Interest and ability to effectively teach college level introductory physics courses, including laboratories.
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in physics
  • Excellence in teaching physics courses at the college or university level.
  • Excellence in communication with students, faculty and staff.
  • Evidence and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment for fostering a diverse working and learning environment
