Job Description |
This is a supervisory position in which the incumbent works closely with students and faculty in a laboratory situation. The incumbent oversees teaching assistants in the laboratory.
Incumbent also develops lab experiments and evaluates their effectiveness and purchases and maintains necessary lab equipment. He/she will evaluate the performance of graduate teaching assistants and offer suggestions for improvement.

Essential Functions:
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring Department.
1. Manage undergraduate physics laboratories.
2. Oversees teaching assistants.
3. Assist in undergraduate physics laboratories as needed.
4. Active participation in outreach programs.

Minimum Qualifications |
Education:
At least Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Physics.

Related education and related experience may be substituted on a basis set forth by the Department of Human Resources. |
