Basic Function |
The Physics Department at Kent State University invites applicants for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track (NTT) beginning in Fall 2016. The successful candidate will be appointed at academic rank appropriate to his or her credentials.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities |
The successful candidate is expected to teach and develop multiple introductory undergraduate courses and laboratories for science and non-science majors. Additional duties may include advising of undergraduate majors, community outreach and recruiting activities.

Minimum Qualifications |
Masters degree in Physics or a related area is required, while doctoral degree is preferred. Teaching experience in physics is required. Experience in teaching and developing courses using online technology is a plus.
