Position Summary |
The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Western Carolina University invites applications for a fixed-term Lecturer in Physics effective August 2016. Responsibilities include teaching introductory physics lecture and laboratory courses. Candidates must have completed at least a master’s degree in physics or a closely related discipline prior to the hire date. Prior teaching experience at the college level is preferred. Western Carolina University is a member institution of the University of North Carolina system and is located in a scenic valley near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, ca. 50 miles West of Asheville, NC.
