TT at Austin College

PHYSICS/ASTRONOMY. Tenure-track, assistant professor, beginning August 2011. Austin College, a selective liberal arts institution, seeks a broadly trained experimentalist committed to excellence in teaching and research in a liberal arts environment. Teaching responsibilities include introductory physics, upper-level laboratory courses, and contributions to the general education curriculum. The successful candidate will establish an active research program involving undergraduates. We are particularly interested in candidates who will use our planned rooftop observatory in teaching and research.
