The Department of Physics & Physical Science at the University of
Nebraska at Kearney invites applications for two tenure-track faculty
positions to begin in August 2014.
The successful applicant will
have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and will be
expected to teach introductory and advanced courses in Physics and
Physical Science. Upper-level teaching responsibilities will depend on
the candidate's background and experience.
Also, the candidates will be expected to develop an externally funded research program
engaging undergraduate students. Applicants with specialties in any area of physics or astronomy are encouraged to apply.
Required:
Ph.D. In physics, astronomy, or a related field. ABD will be conditionally considered.
