Assistant Professor of Physics, USC Sumter. The University of South Carolina Sumter invites applications to a full-time, tenure-track position to begin August, 2014. A Ph.D. in Physics or Physics Education at time of appointment preferred. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and the ability to maintain a healthy level of professional activity in scholarship and service are required. The teaching load will be twelve contact hours per semester. Student advising and participation on campus committees is expected.
