The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in physical science. A Ph.D. in physics, physics education, or a closely-related field and demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills and multicultural competency is required. The faculty member sought will teach a range of courses including algebra- and calculus-based introductory physics courses and general education survey courses in physics and earth & space science, including courses for pre-service teachers. Candidates who complement the department's interests in physics education research and/or who can develop a research program involving undergraduates are particularly encouraged to apply.
