TT or VAP at CSU Stanislaus (CA)

The Department of Physics & Geology at California State University, Stanislaus, invites applications for a tenure-track or Visiting Lecturer faculty position beginning in Fall 2014. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to be an effective teacher and to work with students from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities include teaching lower division and upper division courses for general education and for Physics majors, in Physics and Astronomy. Active research is expected, research involving undergraduate students preferred. We seek an applicant with a Ph.D. in Physics or a related field. Prior teaching experience is a plus.
