Full-Time, Two-Year Position Whittier College, CA Whittier College, a small (1500 undergraduates), independent Liberal Arts College located about 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, invites applications for a two-year full-time teaching appointment in the Department of Physics and Astronomy starting September 2014. A Ph.D. in Physics is required and teaching experience using student-centered interactive pedagogies is a definite plus. Excellence in teaching is our main consideration. The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses for science, pre-health, and non-science students.
