SUMMARY:
The Department seeks
candidates dedicated to equity and diversity of the campus community and

QUALIFICATIONS: M.S. or
Ph.D. in Physics and/or Astronomy or related field.College level
teaching experience required. Must have the knowledge, skills and
ability to teach PHYS 101, PHYS 123, PHYS 124, PHYS 211L, PHYS 212L,
ASTR
103 and ASTR 104L at the college level, experience teaching at a U.S.
Institution, willingness to work with students and sensitivity to a
diverse student population. Collegiality is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent(s) will be responsible for teaching one or more
lower division, undergraduate courses in a manner consistent with the
specific course content description. These positions will cover the
coordination and content delivery in lower division Physics and
Astronomy courses.
Faculty are expected to hold office hours
appropriate for the course(s) being taught.
