St.
Louis College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time,
tenure-track position at the assistant/associate professor level to
teach Physics starting Fall 2014. Ph.D. is required. The successful
candidate will work closely with faculty at the College in the ongoing
development, implementation, and evaluation of physics courses
associated with two new B.S. programs in Health Sciences and in Health
Humanities in preparation for the Pharm.D. curriculum. Candidates with
experience in active learning methods and interest in physics education
research, particularly in the area of Introductory Physics for the Life
Sciences (IPLS), are encouraged to apply. This is an academic-year
(9-month) appointment.
