Centenary College of Louisiana invites applications for a one year
position at the visiting assistant professor level in the Department of
Physics beginning August 2014.
We are seeking candidates who are
deeply committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship and who
desire to teach in a liberal arts environment. A Ph.D. in physics or
related field is required at the time of employment. Familiarity with
current trends in physics education is desirable. The successful
applicant whose expertise complements the department’s strength in
biophysics will be encouraged to apply for a tenure track opening in the
Fall of 2015.

for involvement in interdepartmental programs such as the College’s 3/2
