The Physics Department at Hope College invites applications for a
visiting assistant professor position to fill a one year appointment
(with the possibility of renewal for a second year) starting August
2014. We seek candidates with a desire to teach a range of undergraduate
physics topics and contribute to the mission of the college. The
teaching responsibilities will include introductory and intermediate
level courses, including laboratory. A
Ph.D. in physics, with any area of specialty, is strongly preferred
