Job Description Summary | The Science Department at Cabrini College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics, beginning in August of 2016. Candidates should be able to teach a wide variety of courses in Physics for Science and Math Majors and teach physics/ physical science for non-majors. The candidate will be expected to regularly teach Physics I and II (algebra and calculus based sections), a non-majors conceptual physics course and possibly another physical science course for non-majors. In addition to teaching 12 credits per semester in the major and the general education curriculum, other primary responsibilities include student advising, supervising student internships, capstone projects, and undergraduate student research. Also expected is service to the department and the college, and continuing scholarly and professional activities. The Cabrini College Science Department provides courses for an undergraduate major, minor, and the general education curriculum of the college.
