The Department of Physics at Christian Brothers University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting August 18, 2016. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in physics or an applied physics discipline at the time of the appointment and should be dedicated to undergraduate physics instruction. Undergraduate teaching experience is preferred. The primary responsibility of a CBU faculty member is effective teaching. A full-time teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester and consists of upper and lower level physics courses. Other responsibilities include directing student research projects, service to department and university, and continued professional development.
