Simpson College, a private, nationally recognized regional college grounded in the liberal arts tradition and affiliated with the United Methodist Church invites applications for an expected one-year Visiting Professor of Physics. The position will begin mid-August 2016, and require a Ph.D. in physics or closely related area. Applicants should have experience and/or expressed interest in working at a primarily residential, liberal arts institution. Candidates for the position must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and a willingness to engage students in scholarship.
