RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach lower division physics courses including laboratories.
- Teach physics courses for education majors.
- Standard teaching load is 24 credits per year.
- Contribute to program development and scholarly activities in the department.
- Contributing to student growth.
- Service to the department, college, university and community.
- M.S. degree or higher in physics conferred on an official transcript by August 10, 2015.
- Interest and ability to effectively teach college-level introductory physics courses, including laboratories.
- PhD in physics.
- Excellence in teaching physics courses at the college or university level.
- Excellence in communication with students, faculty and staff.
- Evidence and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment for fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
