TT at Texas Wesleyan

The Department of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science at Texas Wesleyan University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Physics at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 2015. 

Primary teaching responsibilities include University Physics I, University Physics II (both calculus based) as well as general education science courses such as Geology. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to stay current in developments in the field of physics especially in the best practices in teaching physics to majors and non-majors. Other requirements include advising students, supervising student lab assistants, and service to the University community. 

Position requirements include a Ph.D. in Physics or Geophysics. Teaching experience is also required. Preference will be given to those candidates who have college-level teaching experience.
