Berry College invites applications for a one-year faculty position in physics beginning August 2015. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor) or Master’s (for appointment as Instructor) in physics or a closely related field and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate physics teaching. Teaching duties include introductory algebra-based physics and upper-division classical mechanics (12 contact hours per semester). The department supports the use of active learning strategies.
