Slippery Rock University is seeking applicants for a temporary, full time, instructor level teaching position for the academic year 2015-16.
Responsibilities: Teach 24 contact hours of algebra-based introductory physics courses per academic year. Involvement in department committees and university service required.

Minimum Qualifications |
Minimum requirement: Master’s degree in Physics, or M.Ed. combined with a B.A./B.S. in physics. The candidate must be willing to apply pedagogy from Physics Education Research (PER) in a constructivist approach. The candidate must demonstrate commitment to education of diverse populations. Successful performance in an on-campus interview, including teaching demonstration is required.

Preferred Qualifications |
Ph.D. or ADB in physics. Evidence of effective teaching experience focusing on student-centered teaching.
