QUALIFICATIONS: Doctorate with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Physics; Master's degree considered with significant work in physics beyond the master's.
RESPONSIBILITY: Teach day and evening physics courses for science and non-science students (lectures and labs). An ability to teach introductory astronomy (lectures and labs) in highly desirable.
THE COLLEGE: South Georgia State College is a four-year multi-campus residential institution with a fall semester enrollment of over 2,000 students, providing the Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing and Biological Sciences. It is located in southeast Georgia with campuses in Douglas and Waycross with easy access to the Georgia and Florida coasts.
