| Position Summary |
The Department of Physics at Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor for the 2016-17 academic year.
We are seeking an excellent teacher of physics with a demonstrated record of advising and mentoring undergraduate students in research. The successful candidate must be able to teach the Introductory Astronomy course, introductory physics courses along with various other upper-level courses currently taught within the physics department.

| Required Qualifications |
We seek outstanding candidates with an earned Ph.D. in Astro-physics, Experimental physics, or a related field.
The successful candidate is also expected to initiate and maintain a vigorous research program involving undergraduate students along with institutional service for the good of the university.

| Preferred Qualifications |
Relevant post-doctoral research experience is preferred.
