The Department of Physics at Rockhurst University invites applications for a full-time tenure track position in physics at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 1, 2016. We are a collaborative department that actively engages students in the learning process and promotes innovative teaching styles, the use of technology in the classroom, and undergraduate research.
Candidates must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Teaching responsibilities will include the full range of undergraduate physics courses with occasional undergraduate student research projects. Service and scholarship activity is also expected for tenure and promotion. Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent degree and teaching experience at the college level.
