The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Swarthmore College invites applications for a two-year leave replacement position in experimental physics at the Assistant Professor level beginning with the Fall semester of 2016. The teaching load over two semesters is 3 courses and 3 lab sections (9 weekly contact hours per semester). Candidates must have a strong interest in teaching at a highly selective, undergraduate liberal arts college. We are particularly interested in candidates that could immediately teach in our upper level lab curriculum.
