A two-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics position is available at St. Norbert College for new Ph.D.'s seeking to develop a record of excellence in teaching in a liberal arts college environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for four courses and their associated laboratories during the academic year beginning in August 2016.
Applicants will have the opportunity to teach both introductory and advanced physics courses, with preference given to candidates who can also contribute to the St. Norbert College Core Curriculum Program. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to apply for funding to support student-faculty collaborative research, as well as for additional professional development activities.
The position includes a competitive salary plus benefits.
A Ph.D. at the time of appointment is required.
