Full-time temporary position with primary teaching responsibilities in transfer physics courses and related academic training required for transfer students in science, engineering and pre-professional majors.
A commitment to general education is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate instructional skills that provide high quality student learning and engagement. A commitment to instructional technology is required, with experience in course delivery via distance learning modalities preferred. A secondary teaching area in science is also desired. Start date: January 4, 2016 for Spring 2016 semester.
Masters Degree in physics required. Understanding of and commitment to the community college philosophy and prior teaching experience is preferred.
