1-Year NTT Teaching Position at Gordon College

One-Year Teaching Position 2013 - 2014

Gordon College in Wenham, MA, plans to hire a person to fill a one-year full-time faculty position in its physics department for the 2013-2014 school year. This faculty member will teach both lecture and laboratory courses and mentor students working on research projects. An interest in spectroscopic techniques and mechanical and nano-mechanical properties of materials would be helpful.

The candidate should have:

A Ph.D., preferably in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering-Physics, or Materials Science
Successful experience teaching both lecture and laboratory physics courses
Substantial experimental skills and an eagerness to work with undergraduate students on research projects
A demonstrable commitment to Christian undergraduate education.
