Position Summary Information
Basic Function
The primary purpose of the academic division is to provide a diverse student population with high quality instruction in a variety of developmental, transfer, occupational and technical curricula. Teach courses in physics, in face-to-face format, with the possibility of some online teaching.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Physics
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with online teaching, and with a course management system such as Blackboard.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Incorporate teaching and learning strategies that have been demonstrated to promote student engagement, persistence and success. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and with diverse abilities.
