Bethany College is a national liberal arts college located on a

The Department of Education at Bethany College invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Education to begin in fall 2013. The College seeks candidates with expertise in middle and secondary math and science and an interest in working with diverse populations in PK-12 public school contexts.
Required qualifications include: earned doctorate in middle or secondary education or curriculum and instruction or related degree by August 2013; a minimum of 3 years of successful teaching at the PK-12 level.
Preference will be given to applicants who are proficient in teaching math/science methodology and who have experience in clinical math and science practicum as well as courses in elementary methods, research, and foundations of education.
