Job Description | The Science, Engineering and Technology Division is seeking an innovative and effective faculty member to serve a diverse student population that includes science and non-science majors. The successful applicant will teach a range of courses that includes calculus based physics, non-calculus based physics and astronomy in both classroom and laboratory settings. Curriculum development, student advising, coordination with division faculty and participation in college wide activities are required. |
Minimum Qualifications | Master’s degree in physics or in a closely related field; college teaching experience |
Preferred Qualifications | Community college teaching experience that includes both lecture and labs in physics and astronomy courses; experience incorporating technology effectively into classroom and/or laboratory instruction; ability to coordinate with and mentor adjunct faculty teaching physics and astronomy. |
Compensation | Commensurate based on experience and education. Plus excellent medical insurances and tuition reimbursement |
